Heck HW, I think it’s fine the way it is! I’m new to WP, only been around about 2 months. What I’ve noticed is there seems to be a tendency for people to respond to the more personal stuff, rather than the more text booky stuff you and I are writing. But if we came on to share our knowledge, what else can we do but what we’re doing? I’m going to try for a few more personal paras at the beginning of each post, but apart from that, I think I’ll just go on plugging away and hope it helps somebody. Do you have any ideas yourself?
Best,
Danielle de Valera
I agree with Danielle that HW is a great blog the way it is. I find the content interesting and well written. However, part of the fun of blogging is getting to know the person behind the words. Give your readers a sense of who you are, and what is great will become extraordinary – and I can say that because we have corresponded outside of our blogs and I know you interesting!
I’m going to try a Halloween blog hop this weekend, to network a little with other bloggers. Immersion is a good learning technique, right? 😉 I’ve got a link over on my blog if either you or Danielle are interested in joining.
Good advice, I’ve been meaning to update my ‘about’ page and guess now’s the time to do it! Thanks for the input and good luck with the Halloween piece!

Thanks for the input! I’ve found the opposite though, that my more ‘text booky stuff” had more hits than my day to day types of articles.
